WR Greg Jennings (hamstring) missed reps Wednesday. Thursday the team will have a medical review and that will be a factor as to whether he goes this week or not. Look for Jennings to try and practice on Friday.

RB Vernand Morency (knee) was limited at practice today. When asked about starting
DeShawm Wynn, Coach McCarthy said, “I'd be comfortable with any of the guys. I think if we got to the point their preparation for that game would put them in position to be ready. DeShawn has done a very good job with his opportunities. I'm giving you all the same quotes. He's smart. He identifies defenses. He's an instinctive runner. He's really picked up our system quickly, especially for the amount of time he missed in training camp.”

Pats QB Tom Brady (right shoulder) was given some time off late at practice Wednesday but this has been the norm most of the season. Today at his press conference Brady said, “We've found different ways over the years to be successful, and I think this year we're finding new ways as well.” Brady was also present for the media access portion of the Wednesday’s workout.

Both TE Dan Campbell (elbow) and RB T.J. Duckett (ankle) did not practice on Wednesday.

Lions RB Kevin Jones (foot) got more reps in with the team on Wednesday and he as a fair chance of dressing out for Week #3. But even if he does, he might only see a handful of touches against Philly. Coach Marinelli is said to be looking at 15 to 20 snaps for Jones if he plays in Week #3.

The Bengals have ruled WR Tab Perry (hamstring) out for Week #3. Look for

Eagles TE L.J. Smith (groin) was held out of practice on Wednesday.

Eagles stud RB Brian Westbrook (knee) had a “precautionary MRI” and did not practice Wednesday. Westbrook was examined further by the team's medical staff. On Tuesday Coach Reid indicated
he doesn't believe the injury will keep Westbrook out for Sunday's home game against Detroit.

As has been customary all season, veteran WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh (knee) was given time off on Wednesday. Houshmandzadeh, who shares the NFL lead with 17 catches uses the time to rest his knee.

From Houston, word is WR Andre Johnson (knee) is not going to play in Week #3. At his press conference today, Johnson said, “I’m just going to take it day-by-day and week-by-week. I’m doing everything possible that I can do to get myself ready to be back on the field.” Pressed to give a timetable on Johnson's recovery, Coach Kubiak sounded optimistic that his star player won't miss an extended period of time.
